Meet Bear a 1 yr old fluffy frenchie with what looks to be mixed with shar pei. Bear is a fun loving pup with an outgoing personality and a face that is absolutely adorable. He weighs approximately 45 lbs and is vaccinated but the rescue has him scheduled for neuter in early Dec. so adopter will need to be able to get him to our vet for his appointment before adoption can be completed.
Bear is typical young dog and has lots of energy and can pull on leash, he is house trained and would need introductions to any pets in home. He loves to play but can act inappropriately upon meeting new dogs so we don't recommend placing him in home with any dogs under 20 lbs. He was an only dog in his home so he still needs to learn more appropriate interactions with dogs for play. We don't know how he is with cats as he has not been around them.
Bear loves people and is so cute he is hard to resist. He will make an amazing addition to the right home and is worth meeting.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.
All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.
We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
