My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey! My name is Easton! I am new to Minnesota and I am adjusting to the chilly weather and cold snowy ground. I am living with my foster family until I find myself a forever family. I play with 3 other dogs and a kitty friend. I have 2 human foster brothers as well! I like to sploot on the couch between my foster mom and dad while they catch up on their shows to soak up all the snuggles and scratches. It takes me a little bit to warm up to my new surroundings but once I am settled in, I let my true colors shine! I am an adventurous pup – I like to play with toys and bones and my fellow dog friends. Although it’s new to me, I am doing well with this whole walking on a leash thing. I am still working on my potty training but my foster momma tells me I am getting better every day! I stay in my crate while my foster family is at work, I also sleep in my crate at night. The crate isn’t exactly my favorite thing but my foster momma tells me it’s important to keep me safe while they’re away. Anyways, enough about me, I’d love to meet you and win over your love with my suave charm. When can we meet?!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
