If you are looking for a sassy, spicy or diva cat, you will need to keep looking! This one year old girl, Penelope, is so sweet! She is so loving and affectionate and loves full body pets. She loves spending time in your lap or sitting next to you, giving you affection and purring up a storm. She is a master biscuit maker with her paws too! She is very tolerant of me giving her lots of kisses too!
“Penny” is very good girl and has great kitty manners and habits. She uses her litter box and her scratching pads and posts like a champ! She does not demand much (other than your affection) and does not get into trouble or mischief. She is always in the mood for some pets and love and playtime. Wand toys are her favorite toys and catnip makes her get silly. She has discovered it is very fun to play in her cat tunnels while her human holds a wand toy.
She does well at the vet clinic and for her nail trims at home. She enjoys getting brushed too. Meal times are a favorite of Penelope’s as she is very food motivated. She loves her lick and her canned food meals.
Her favorite hangout spots are the cat tree in front of the window watching the wildlife or snuggling up on or under a blanket on the couch. She is a very easy kitty to care for and would be great for someone who is new to having a kitty friend.
She would be happiest and thrive in a quiet, low traffic home without young children. She is timid initially around new people and timid with quick, loud movements but warms up fairly quickly. She is still gaining confidence in her foster home and she will continue to blossom with confidence in a quiet, loving home.
We are so fortunate to have been able to help her as she is an absolute gem and deserves all the love, comfort and care that an inside home will provide her. All she asks for is a cat tree with a comfy blanket, to be placed by the window so she can continue her bird and squirrel watching and day dreaming activities and also, lots of affection from her favorite humans as she is a people cat.
We are still working on cat intros with the resident cats in the home. With time, and slow introductions, she should do fine with a kitty roommate. She would be very happy and content being an only kitty in the home.
