Being housed at Utica Petsmart!
Philip is a friendly, social adult cat looking for a home to call his own. His previous owners, who had him since he was a kitten, were unable to keep him due to housing restrictions, and Philip found himself at the shelter. At first he was very scared, but once he realized he was safe he opened up and showed off his true personality! Philip loves people, and greatly enjoys playing and cuddling with the people he loves. He is confident and loving, and will always make it known when he wants attention! In his free time, Philip likes playing with catnip toys and taking naps in his cozy cat bed. If you're looking for a mature and affectionate new friend, Philip is just the cat for you! Fill out an application for him today!

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills or a PetCo in Roseville. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
