My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Poinsettia, with the cutest terrier face, fluffy, yet somehow wiry fur, and big brown eyes that you can't help but adore. This sweet little girl is only about 3 months old, and around 3 pounds, and while she may be small, her personality is BIG! As you may know, Terriers are known for their sizable personalities and Poinsettia is no different! Taking the world on in strides, fully prepared for adventures as such a young pup, it is crazy how terrier she is! From chasing stuffies, to playing with other puppies, kitties, and kiddos, she loves it all! Yet more than willing to cuddle in the crook of just about ANYONE'S arms. Making her a PERFECT fit for just about any loving home!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
