Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Animal Welfare Friends with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever seen a dog SO gorgeous? I'll answer for you, no, never! She is as docile, sweet, gentle, and as cuddly as it gets. This sweet girl is only about 2 years old & 50 pounds, leaving Sofie with ALL the love you can imagine, without all the crazy puppy energy, luckily! From loving every person she meets, big or small, to loving every dog she meets, big or small; she is ALWAYS ready to meet new friends, and get in on the fun! But when she's not actively romping around having a blast, she's quite the content girl. In fact, her seemingly favorite activity is getting close as possible to ANYONE, and just begging for scratches. (Her favorites are behind the ear, neck, and rump!) I cannot get enough of this sweet girl, and I know you won't be able to, either! Sofie spent awhile in foster before making her way to us, and she learned all of the basics of being the best family pup out there! From house-breaking, to sleeping in the bed at night ;) She also walks very well on the leash, and knows all of her basic commands, some without saying anything at all, like roll over! That couuulllddd just be because she adores belly rubs, buttttt who could resist?!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
