My name is Yoshi!

We love Yoshi and hate to have to rehome him. Yoshi is a four year old German Shepherd mix that is smart, protective, and loving, but also prone to anxiety. We have a young infant now, whom Yoshi has shown no aggression towards, but has become protective of from others. Yoshi has some behavioral issues, including separation anxiety and is on medication twice a day to help with his anxiety and aggression.

Yoshi rarely barks, gets along with most dogs when outside on walks or playing, and is very well-trained in many tasks. 95% of the time he is the perfect dog.

There are a number of "triggers" however that can lead him to be on alert, growl, or even attempt to nip. This often results in him exhibiting resource guarding or being territorial over an object or individual.

A home with a backyard or someone who enjoys going on long walks and adventures is perfect for Yoshi. He loves car rides, playing fetch with a ball (inside or outside!) and being chased around.
