Our Viking beefcake, Thor, found himself dumped at a Texas shelter. The shelter is no place for a senior boy, just looking for a cozy place to live out his years. So far, we know that Thor needs some extra love and care. He received an injection in Texas, and according to his TX fosters, it helped him get around greatly. He is currently on some pain relievers and joint supplements. We are not yet sure of what his medical needs will be going forward. He has a tough time getting around, and has a hard time with stairs. His heart is pure gold. He loves everyone that he’s met so far! With the biggest head in his foster home, he nudges his way into everything he wants. He even pushes the door open and lets himself outside—no doggy door required! So far, his favorite activities are snoring, kong-destroying, and eating. He loves giant stuffed animals, and it’s so fun to see him get excited for them Ideally for Thor, a home where he won’t have to deal with stairs. Lots of love and soft places to snooze his day away! We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

Take the Pet Home

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.
