My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB: 09/02/24

Amelia is an adorable brown tabby kitten with the sweetest face. She absolutely loves lap time and will purr constantly while being pet. She's also very playful, she loves chasing the red dot or playing on her own with mice and springs.

Amelia is very happy to sit on her foster humans' laps in the foster room and greet them at the door. However, she is still quite skittish with fast movements. It's kind of understandable, humans are so much bigger when standing than she is!  At this time she would do best in a calm, adult-only home as she continues to grow in her confidence. She loves people so much (especially if they have kitten snacks), it should not take very long!

She currently lives with another kitten and they get along well. She would most likely do well with another friendly resident cat.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
