Available for adoption in Orange County ONLY! Zac is an 8 month old Airedale terrier mix who weighs 35lbs. He may grow to be up to 60lbs. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Zac is a very sweet boy, but he is shy and will need a patient home that wants to help him succeed and build his confidence. He is much more confident with a friendly dog friend around, so we are only considering homes with other dogs for him. He also does much better when he's on a schedule and has a routine he can rely on!
This cutie is a puppy, so he does have a lot of energy! He would appreciate a home that is active and can ensure he gets enough exercise (both physical and mental).
Zac is fantastic with other dogs, has been social with respectful, calm kids, and has shown some fear around cats. He likes to take in his surroundings and has enjoyed trips to coffee shops and Home Depot. He prefers having a dog friend with him for his adventures out in the world.
Zac is learning basic obedience, crate, and potty training in his foster home. He's doing fantastic with all three! He can be a bit fearful of the crate at night, but his fosters have found that with the right routine and a little CBD before bed, he will settle and sleep for 7-8 hours.
