Meet Ladybug, an adorable 4-lb, 9-week-old terrier mix who is ready to find her forever home!
Background: Ladybug was found as a stray with her sister, Cricket. Can you believe two tiny sweethearts survived alone on the streets in the middle of summer?
Personality: Ladybug is a fun and feisty little girl—a typical terrier! She loves to play with toys and other dogs before napping in her foster parent’s lap. Ladybug loves to snuggle! She is extra sassy with large dogs and does best with dogs on the smaller size.
Health: Ladybug has been dewormed and received her bordetella and first set of distemper/parvo vaccines. Our rescue will pay for her remaining puppy shots and spay surgery.
Training: As a young puppy, Ladybug is still learning the ropes. She is working on potty training in her foster home but will need continued training.
Ideal Home: Ladybug would thrive in just about any kind of home where she can get plenty of love and attention. She would do well with a family that has the time to continue her training and socialization. Ladybug gets along well with small dogs and would enjoy having a furry sibling to play with.
Adoption Requirements: We are accepting applications for foster-to-adopt! Terms of a foster-to-adopt agreement include taking Ladybug for her remaining shots and spay surgery at PAWS - The Modern Spay Neuter Clinic (Cave Creek & 101).
Week of 9/23: distemper/parvo booster
Week of 10/21: distemper/parvo booster, rabies, microchip, spay surgery
Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application
*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
