My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chubbs, the adorably sweet kitten who's ready to find his forever family! 😻💖 Chubbs may have started off a bit shy, but he's quickly learning that human snuggles are the best thing ever and is growing more confident with each passing day! 🐾✨

This little guy might have been a little reserved at first, but now he's starting to enjoy all the love and attention his foster family has to offer. From soft purrs to playful moments, Chubbs is becoming the perfect balance of cuddly and curious! 😽💕

Chubbs is looking for a family who will continue to help him blossom into the confident, snuggly companion he's meant to be. If you're ready for a kitten full of sweetness and potential, Chubbs would love to be your new best friend! 🏡💫

Could you be the one to give Chubbs his forever home? 🐱❤️

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
