My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dottie.
She was rescued on the loading docks of a supermarket after having just give him birth to five kittens and I got her the day that they were born and she was super emaciated and had horrible diarrhea.
Super sweet and loving and really just wants to be where the action is.
She was such a good Mama to those kittens.
She absolutely loves treats and she loves to eat and she will stand on her hind legs and eat a whole churu While looking just like a meerkat.

More about this rescue

My name is Amanda, I live in Southern California and I own and operate my nonprofit animal rescue, Kitten Rescue Life. I always wanted to make a difference to animals in need. The more I saw and the more I learned, the harder it became to stay uninvolved. Finally in 2017, a colony cat I named Henry ignited a level of inspiration I could no longer ignore. I began fostering and shortly after started coordinating for a local cat rescue. The two years I spent fostering and coordinating gave me a lot of the knowledge and experience I needed in order to properly care for animals and run a 501c3.
I mostly work with the young or neonate kitten population and severe medical cases. These underage kittens are at high risk on the streets and in shelters. Motherless kittens won't last long on the streets and in shelters they are at risk of euthanasia. I provide a safe environment for them until they can be adopted into forever homes. I'm experienced in treating sick or fading kittens and I've saved many lives by following practiced rescue protocols. I also have experience socializing and trapping feral kittens. I'm a huge advocate of both TNR (trap, neuter, release) and spay/neuter programs.
