My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raider is a sweet, soft-hearted boy with a gentle soul. At 10 years old, he's a shy cat who takes his time warming up to new people and surroundings. But once he feels safe, his loving and loyal nature shines through, making him an incredible companion.

Raider is the kind of cat who forms deep bonds with his humans-he just needs a patient and understanding family to help him feel secure. He loves quiet spaces, soft blankets, and the occasional treat to win his heart. With time and love, Raider will reward you with purrs, nuzzles, and a friendship that's worth every moment of waiting.

Raider would thrive in a calm home with patient adopters who are ready to show him that the world is full of kindness and warmth. Are you the special family Raider's been waiting for? He's ready to find his forever home where he can truly shine.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Fees vary with special adoption events, but our standard adoption fee for an individual adult cat, between the ages of 6 months to 7 years, is $75. An adoption interest form/application and contract must be filled out by all adopters.
No adoptions are approved without visiting the shelter in person. Interest or application for adoption is not a guarantee. Volunteers attempt to match cats with an appropriate home setting/family, and adoptions are not first come, first serve.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, almost all of our adoptable animals are in foster homes. In most cases it is not possible to visit cats in the shelter.
