My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue**

Meet Rainbee! Rainbee has a birthday of July 4, 2024 making him an approximately four-and-a-half-months old puppy. He is some sort of mini Poodle/Terrier mix, weighing around 16 pounds, and with the cutest curly apricot-colored fur. AND, he's looking for a forever family! Rainbee and his litter-mate, Willow, were surrendered to the shelter when their family felt they did not have room for them. The other puppies in the litter were sold. :-( Rainbee is full of sass and sweetness and is classic puppy in that he is full of energy and mischief. Rainbee LOVES attention and will go out of his way to make sure he gets all of it. Rainbee can be a bit bossy with other dogs and is still learning to share food, treats, and attention. He would do best with a family that is willing to help him learn that there is plenty of love and food to go around! In the meantime, he does best when fed separate from other dogs. Rainbee is pretty much puppy perfect, other than that! He loves to run and play and loves to meet new people. If you're looking for a fun little social butterfly, come meet Rainbee! Please make sure you're up for the challenge of raising a puppy; puppies become adult dogs and they are a part of your family FURever. Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment. Rainbee's adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date, and microchip.

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.

We are always seeking to help promote these special Chihuahuas who are too often overlooked in AZ shelters due to the sheer volume of this breed. Please share and like us on Facebook:
