My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Mar, a sleek and stunning orange kitty who’s made the journey from Tulare County in search of a loving home. Mar’s beautiful coat and bright eyes make her a striking beauty, but it’s her boundless energy and playful spirit that truly stand out. This lively girl is always on the move, ready to explore her surroundings and pounce into playtime. Whether she’s darting after a feather toy or bouncing around in pure joy, Mar is the perfect companion for an active household looking for a cat with personality and zest. If you`re ready for a fun-loving, energetic kitty to add excitement to your home, Mar is ready to be your new adventure buddy!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
