Meet Don Ameche, a sweet and gentle soul who has come a long way!

He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he lived alongside over 140 other dogs, and he`s still adjusting to life outside that environment. While he’s making incredible progress, he’s still learning to trust and get used to being handled, so we ask that you go slow when meeting him. He can be a little nervous at first and doesn’t love sudden movements, but with patience, he’ll warm up to you.

Don Ameche would thrive in a home with another dog, as having a furry friend by his side will help him feel more at ease. If you have another dog, bring them in for a meet and greet to see if they’ll be a perfect match!
