Hi, I`m Coco. When I first came here, I was a bit shy. The world seemed so big and I, so small. But I`ve grown in confidence since then. I`m sweet and cuddly, always ready for a purr-filled nap in your lap. I love to play with jingling toys and chase laser pointers. I`ve heard that some people think kittens are too much work, but I promise, I`m worth it. I`ll bring joy and laughter into your life, and I`ll be your best friend. More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
