This boy is delightful! He’s not your typical chihuahua at all. We took him in from a very over crowded shelter. He’s been awesome since arriving.
Little Timmy is a approx 2 year old, male, chihuahua mix. He weighs 9 Pounds and is full grown.
He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of his adoption. He is thankfully Heartworm negative.
Little Timmy is a very friendly guy who is happy to meet everyone. He’s not the typical nippy chi. He’s also not been super yappie so far. He can be nervous here and there but he adjusts well.
He does well with other dogs of all sizes. He is fostered with cats and is curious about them but not aggressive at all. Surprisingly he’s very kid tolerant. He’s fostered with a wild toddler and takes it all in stride. Kids do need to be respectful enough to not treat him like a toy, squeeze him, pull his tail/ears etc.
Little Timmy is crate trained and does well in the car. He is doing great with leash walking. He is mostly potty trained. He won’t go in his crate and knows to go outside. He has some initial nervous peeing and some marking territory but that seems to be subsiding more and more each day as he gets settled. He has his neuter soon and that should help some with marking behaviors.
He has a medium energy level. He has spurts of playful energy but also has a very lazy and cuddly side. He’s extremely attached to his people and follows you around like a tiny shadow.
Little Timmy has not shown any aggression over food, treats or toys with dogs or humans. He loves to snuggle with you. He’s very sweet and loves belly rubs and just being with you. He can initially be a leg humper. Seems to be an excited/nervous thing. He takes corrections well and it fades away quickly.
If you’re looking for a sweet loving little dog then he’s your guy. A really nice dog with a great personality.
