My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎶 Isn’t He Lovely? Meet Stevie Wonder! 🎶

Stevie Wonder isn’t just a legend in music—he’s also the name of this sweet, soulful pup who’s looking for his forever home!

Stevie came to the shelter as a stray, and while no one claimed him, we know he’s destined to be someone’s greatest hit. At around 5 years young, Stevie started out shy (new environments are tough!), pacing nervously at the shelter. But with the help of kind volunteers and his loving foster family, he’s finally finding his groove.

🎤 He’s got soul! Once Stevie feels safe, he lights up like a spotlight, happily asking for pets and tail wags.

🎶 His potty-training skills are on key! Stevie’s foster family discovered that he knows to head straight to the door when nature calls—what a clever boy!

💖 Kindness is his superpower. While Stevie is still adjusting to loud noises (the microwave, for example, is a little too loud for his liking), his foster family says this gentle guy is opening up and showing just how special he is.

Before Stevie can start his next chapter, he needs a little extra TLC. Along with the usual vet care like vaccinations and neutering, Stevie will also need professional grooming to get his coat looking its best and a dental cleaning to make sure his smile is as bright as his future.

Additional adoption info

We require you to fill out an adoption application.
After application is reviewed, a pre-screener contacts you to discuss your application.

Once that is complete, the screener decides if you are recommended for a meet and greet. The entire household should be willing and present for the meet and greet.

If the meet and greet goes well and they are approved to adopt, then we will proceed with a home check.

An adoption contract is required after the home check is approved.

Our adoption fee is $350
