My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Kipp

About me: I am a sweet, shy and gentle guy. I love people and animals, I am just learning to be big and brave in this new chapter of my life. I`ve grown up living outside fending for myself. Ive learned since being in a home for the first time that I really love to relax on a nice cozy couch. The couch has become my favourite spot. I have 2 large shepherd foster sisters that live with me without having any issues, we get along great. They give me lots of space when I need it and always encourage me to try new things. They have been the best teachers to me so far. I would be best in a home with another confident animal companion or some older kids to keep me company. I`d also be good for someone who works from home or someone who is retired and can give me their time and attention. I`m a chill enough guy that cats would be just fine with me. Since coming into care I`ve been having a lot of `firsts`. I`m looking for someone who can continue to encourage every new brave choice I make while I become the best boy I was always meant to be :)

Likes: couch time, snuggles at bed time, definitely belly rubs
Dislikes: sudden sounds and movements kinda startle me still, but I`m getting better everyday, I grew up outside in the quiet country all alone so indoor city life things are brand new to me

Special requests: I am likely going to want to sleep on the bed with you, so I hope that`s okay. I want to feel safe and protected

Kennel Trained: yes, I dont always love it but, I am crated while the humans are at work

House Trained: yes

Dogs: yes

Cats: untested, but yes (I am very respectful of other animals space)

Kids: yes (+8) or up, kids who won`t randomly zoom past me or make loud noises (or have loud toys) near me. Old enough to understand these things might scare me until I get a little older myself

More about this rescue

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a foster home based Animal Rescue located in Edmonton, Alberta. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted, abused and neglected animals and find them their forever homes. We are different from other animal rescues in that we will try our best to not only help cats and dogs but any pet animal that has been unwanted, abused or neglected subject to our volunteers, foster homes and donations. This is one of the many reasons iwars needs you!

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a no-kill animal rescue organization. We will help out any of the animals we take into care with any medical treatments, procedures and medications they may need. We will only euthanize when it is with a qualified veterinarians advice such as terminal illnesses where the animal is suffering. Every animal that comes into iwars is a member of the family.

We need volunteers to help in all different areas of iwars and with your help we can help to save more animals lives. We here at strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that "saving one animal will not change the world but surely for that one animal the world will change forever" - Unknown.
