My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Mr. Cheddar!

Mr. Cheddar is a spunky ball of fun! His mantra is, "More passion, more passion, more energy, more energy!"

Mr. Cheddar was born with 4 siblings, 2 girls and 2 boys! He has been sharing a foster home with his 2 foster brothers Indiana Jones and Earl Grey.

Mr. Cheddar is cat friendly but has never been exposed to dogs. He can be friendly with children that are "cat-friendly."

Mr. Cheddar was feral when he was rescued, so any type of sudden movement or loud noise can make him a little nervous. He is very adventurous and likes to explore!

Mr. Cheddar will be available for adoption on Thanksgiving after his successful neuter surgery! He is FIV/FELV negative and is up to date on vaccines. He has also been treated for fleas, ticks & worms.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
