My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have an interesting story to tell you about how I got to Animal Ark. A mama dog with four puppies was picked up on a reservation in South Dakota and taken into rescue. The rescue transferred all of us to Animal Ark. Once we got there, it became apparent that I was not one of the mama`s puppies--I was noticeably bigger and more developed than my `siblings.` It appears that I attached myself to this little group to survive and in the hopes of finding my way into a better situation. Mission accomplished! I`m a good-sized girl, even though I`m still a puppy. I`m named for Little Foot, the dinosaur in `The Land Before Time.` If puppy energy, puppy kisses, and puppy playfulness sound like your family`s dream, complete an adoption application so that you can come meet me!

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
