My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They named me Dot when I was brought into Animal Ark as an injured stray kitten. A kind person found me and realized that I needed help. I`m a tortoiseshell female who has been resting and recuperating from my injuries. I`m enjoying the good food and the safety of being indoors and cared for. Staff have found me to be calm, sweet, and affectionate. My experience with other cats, dogs, and children is unknown. Once I`m ready for adoption, I can`t go to a family with children under the age of five. It would be ideal if I found a home with another playful kitten or cat to help me burn off my kitten energy.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
