My story

Hello all! I am a handsome, three-year-old male Malamute seeking new living arrangements. I have a lot to offer. I bond tightly to my pack and enjoy lots of affection and attention. I am well behaved in the house and can be left alone for 4-6 hours at a time. I love cuddles, holding your hand, playing in the water, hiking, running, and ploughing about in the snow. Can be adventurous and love to ride in a vehicle.

I do have my “rather nots,” so here are the few things I don’t enjoy: I do not appreciate being boarded in a kennel run and may protest “the jail.” I’m too rambunctious to be around small or younger children, and decidedly not good with small animals.

More on the plus side, I have been known to play happily with other large female canines, and understand and respond to the commands sit, down, stay, can balance a treat on my nose and recall more reliably than many of my breed. I am mostly okay with grooming, except for nail trims, but hey, nobody is perfect. I however, am pretty darn close. Do you want to go on an adventure with me for the rest of my life?
