My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:10/23/2015

Description:

Darling Calico Clover is a tiny bundle of good fortune for whoever is lucky enough to call her their own. Clover was rescued from a filthy room in a Motel 6 where she and 10 other dogs and cats had been abandoned for days without food or water. But despite her harsh treatment, she shows nothing but love and trust for her foster family. She is a petite senior kitty.

Clover is not especially interested in toys or playing but only in affection, snuggling, and lap lazing. Never offering to bite or scratch, she is a gentle little soul. The perfect home will provide Clover with a quiet, peaceful, slow-moving vibe, and a warm and inviting lap in which she can purr the day away. Clover loves to lounge in a sun-drenched window where she can watch the world and take in some fresh fall air. A home with no children or older children is most suitable. She currently resides peacefully with another senior kitty but has little interaction with him. Clover was found with two small dogs, so may get along with a mild-mannered pooch. She is ahuman-loving feline and would be very happy to be an only child. She recently had a dental. She may be light in the tooth department but eats both kibble and canned food like a champ!

Feeling lucky? Sweet Clover is your girl!

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
