My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tippy!

Tippy is a beautiful 5-year-old red heeler with a cautious but sweet nature. Her world has recently changed a lot, and she's still adjusting, so she's feeling a bit nervous right now.

Tippy comes from a unique background-she lived with a single man and five other dogs. While she had plenty of canine company, she often kept to herself, preferring her own space. Like many reservation dogs, Tippy is a little more careful and reserved, having been overstimulated by the energy of chaotic dogs around her.

Despite her nerves, Tippy has a lot of potential to thrive in the right environment. She just needs patience, understanding, and the chance to build trust at her own pace. With the stability of a calm, loving home, Tippy's loyal and intelligent heeler nature is sure to shine through. She's ready to form a deep bond with someone willing to give her the time and care she deserves!

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
