My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT ME HERE (click on or copy and paste link into web browser): https://tinyurl.com/34m64mab

Weight: 70 pounds
Housebroken?: Possibly - clean in kennel
Get Along With Other Dogs?: Very shy except around other dogs. He seems to come out of his shell when other dogs are around
Experience With Children: None known. Fearful of new things, so small children may be too much for him
Activity Level: Low unless playing with other dogs
Known Traits/Quirks: 70 pound scaredy cat. Needs help with confidence. Would probably do best in a home with another outgoing and friendly dog willing to show him the ropes and help build his confidence. Also had entropion surgery on his eye lids on 11/5/24, so his eye lids will need some time to heal before he is all handsome again.

I am vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized. Sadly, I have tested positive for heartworms, but please don’t let that scare you away! Heartworm disease is very treatable and Lewisville Animal Services will provide my heartworm treatment. Please call the shelter at 972.219.3478 for more information about the heartworm treatment protocol. If you are interested in adopting me, come visit me at the shelter during visiting hours. I cannot wait to meet you!
