My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nugget is a handsome tabby boy who recently arrived from Kings County, and he’s still taking it all in. Like any precious gem, Nugget just needs a little time to shine. He may be a bit shy at first as he adjusts to his new surroundings, but with patience and gentle encouragement, his sweet and loving nature will soon emerge.

Once he feels safe, Nugget enjoys quiet companionship and will likely become your go-to buddy for cozy evenings. His soft tabby stripes and soulful eyes make him as visually charming as he is endearing.

If you have a calm and understanding home, Nugget is ready to embark on this new chapter of his life with you. Come meet this gentle treasure and help him find his confidence in a loving forever home!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
