My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Buttons, a darling kitty from Kings County who’s as cute as a button and full of potential. Right now, Buttons is feeling very shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings and may be spending most of her time hiding. But beneath that timid exterior lies a sweet and gentle soul just waiting to blossom with the love and patience of a caring family.

If you’re looking for a special companion to nurture and grow alongside, Buttons might be the perfect fit for you. Come meet her today and help her discover just how wonderful life can be!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
