My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Lucy, a lovely tabby girl who just arrived from Kings County! With her striking tabby stripes and gentle demeanor, Lucy is a true beauty inside and out. While she’s currently feeling a bit shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings, her sweet nature shines through. With a little patience and love, Lucy is sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Whether she’s curled up in a cozy spot or quietly exploring her new environment, Lucy is looking for a forever family to help her feel safe and loved. Could that be you? Come meet her today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
