My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank (A136595) is a 4-year-old Chow Chow x AK Husky mix who weighed 58.7 pounds on intake!

11/18/24 This handsome curly-tailed boy is Tank! Tank can be opinionated at times and is looking for a human who can match his needs. We highly encourage his next owner to work with a certified trainer to see what training techniques work best for him. Tank was known to have a rough style of play. Tank can be standoffish with new people and may bark initially. He has no history with children, but due to his playstyle and escape artist tendencies, he may do best in a home without small kids. His surrendering owner did not specify how he does with other animals so please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with any and all new potential friends. It was also not noted whether he is kennel-trained or housebroken. Tank does have a history of being at large and is looking for an owner who can keep him contained. He should be on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised in a fenced-in yard. If you are interested in meeting Tank, please let us know!
