My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blondie is a ray of sunshine who came to us through animal control, but you'd never guess her journey from her sweet and loving personality. This affectionate girl adores people and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with her favorite humans. Whether you're looking for a lap companion or a furry friend to brighten your day, Blondie is the perfect match. She's ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and endless snuggles. Don't wait-Blondie is ready to meet her forever family!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
