My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aria is a one year old 35 pound Goldendoodle. She is very sweet and gentle. Her former owner kept her outside and she was matted to the skin most everywhere when she was rescued. She went to her doggie dog grooming salon and had a near-total shave down. Now she is much happier and is eating many small meals each day to put on weight. She now weighs about 35 pounds, but should gain at least 10 pounds.

Ari's former owner obviously did not know how to care for Ari and Aria was most likely kept outside most if not all her life. Ari follows her foster mom like a shadow and sleeps by her bed every night.

Ari gets along with the other foster dogs and with the foster mom's dogs. She doesn't play with them, but she's not afraid of or aggressive towards them. Because she lived outdoors, she is not reliably house trained. She's getting the idea, though.

Ari has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $500.

Once your application has been received and reviewed, we'll contact you about meeting Aria in person. She is now in western North Carolina, about 2 hours' drive from Chattanooga, Asheville and Atlanta.
