My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's amazing that Joey is still at the shelter and now up for adoption - he's just too cute and sweet. His family hasn't come to claim him and we can only assume they haven't thought to look at the shelter for their missing pooch. Joey is only about a year old and weighs just 45 pounds. He has a silky smooth coat and appears to have been well cared for. He wouldn't "sit" for photos, but he might have been just be too excited by the shelter noise to obey the command. Joey arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on Nov. 14. He is current on vaccines and will be tested for heartworms, neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Come meet this gorgeous boy in Run 806; use ID# 6214.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
