Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Bobbi and the Strays with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to our beautiful senior lady, Jacqueline! Given up by an owner who can no longer care for her, she is now ready to begin her golden chapter in a loving home being pampered and adored. This friendly girl’s energy level is rather calm. She has never been around children so we are not sure how she will behave with them. However, she is very sweet with the people she meets! Jacqueline is house trained and walks well on leash! She will be a wonderful canine companion!
This lovely pup is a 10 1/2 year old Jack Russell Terrier who is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She is currently at our Freeport location. If you would like to meet this lovely lady, please fill out the adoption application on our website using a laptop or desktop (no phone or tablet, please) at https://bobbiandthestrays.org/adoption-page-new/. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (NYC area and Long Island).

We require all potential adopters to complete an adoption form. We will make arrangements to meet with you, inspect the home where the animal will live, and, once approved, you'll be able to take home your new family member. Fees will be discussed with potential adopters.
We also require that adopters keep us updated on the well being of their pets and, if for any reason they are no longer able to keep the animal, they MUST call us to return the animal to us. We will pick up if necessary.

More about this rescue
Bobbi and the Strays believe that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to undertake rescue operations and to provide essential care for orphaned, stray, abused and special needs cats and dogs.
Through rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption, we endeavor to provide a humane service to all animals that come into our care. Additionally, we generate awareness about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog and cat overpopulation crisis.
Through the years our mission has evolved from just rescue and adoption to community service and educational programs to improve the quality of life to all of the NYC boroughs and Long Island.
Our rescues are brought to schools to provide awareness, help prevent animal abuse and bullying by demonstrating and teaching love, compassion, and respect for life.
By establishing a program that serves low-income families, the elderly and disabled individuals, we bring the communities and animals together for a life of harmony through love and compassion for all.
Bobbi and the Strays is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt animal welfare organization, and a no-kill agency.
