My name is Kaia!

We rescued Kaia when she was just a few months old. She's a sweet, loving, and energetic dog who needs more attention and exercise that we are currently able to provide. She's a bit anxious and has a hard time keeping herself under control when that gets the best of her but if she has sufficient attention and exercise it is much better and she is obedient and eager to please. She is great with our 18 month old son who gets a little too rough with her sometimes, she is never aggressive and even lets him put his hand in her mouth. She is very jealous of our other dogs and would likely do better in a family where she is the only one. I don't imagine her being good with cats or other small animals so a single pet home is likely the best fit. It breaks our hearts to give her up but our lives have gotten more complicated and we just aren't giving her the life she deserves.
