Green Bean Casserole (GBC) is a 12-week-old cute kitten looking for his forever home.
GBC has two curved black marks above his eyes, like eyebrows giving him that ""surprised"" cartoon look.
This sweetie pie loves wrestling with siblings, playing with all kinds of cat toys, especially the ever-popular wand toys.
GBC has bold kitten energy—he plays as hard as he naps afterwards! He will thrive with lots of places to run, play, climb, and explore to get his kitten enrichment! He has a good appetite and loves eating his wet food and tasty Temptation Treats.
When it’s time for the morning workout, GBC is up climbing the cat tree and stalking his siblings, Dinner Roll and Sweet Potato Pie. When they’re all tuckered out from chasing and wrestling, it’s into a cozy hammock or a soft cat bed for some snuggles and rest. Like his siblings, GBC always likes to have a feline pal around.
This handsome boy currently live in a home with one adult, his beloved kitty siblings, and multiple adult cats. He gets along very well with other cats, is unknown with dogs, and would be fine with gentle, cat-savvy, older kids (young children are too loud for his comfort). GBC will thrive in a calm home with either one (or both!) of his siblings, or in a home with another active, friendly young resident cat to play with him and show him the ropes.
This little guy is doing so well learning the ways of cathood and gaining confidence with humans. If you’d like to invite him and perhaps one or both of his siblings into your family, GBC would love to meet you!

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
