Dinner Roll is an adorable 12-week-old kitten who loves to purr, looking for her forever home.
This beautiful girl is reserved at first, but she will start up her purring machine the minute you pet her.
She has typical kitten energy—plays hard and naps hard. With her curious kitten nature, she will need enrichment in the home with lots of things to explore—and they don’t need to be costly: empty boxes, crinkled up paper, brown paper grocery bags (make sure to cut off the handles) and ping pong balls are all big hits with kittens.
Dinner Roll loves wrestling with her siblings and playing with all kinds of cat toys, including wand toys. She also loves being an explorer and climbing atop the cat tree. When it’s time to rest, you’ll find her curled up in a hammock or a soft bed.
This little lady is very social and doesn’t like to be without one of her kitten buddies. She gets along well with other cats, is unknown with dogs, and would probably be okay with older, respectful children (younger kids tend to be too loud for her comfort).
Dinner Roll would thrive in a quiet home with affectionate humans who are excited for lots of kitten shenanigans. She will need to go home with one (or both! Get the whole Thanksgiving feast!) of her siblings (Green Bean Casserole and Sweet Potato Pie), or to a home with another active, friendly young cat to show her the ropes. This pretty little girl is learning to trust and feel confident around humans and is so ready to meet you.

Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
