He can sometimes be found seeking a quiet space, his tail wagging softly as he watches the world go by. This endearing blend of playfulness and shyness makes Milo a unique companion. Above all, Milo is a loyal friend who`s eager to give and receive love. We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year.
