My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We believe this little gal is around 5 years old as of November 2024. She was a found running the streets alone and a nice person picker her up and brought to us. She is a bit shy on first meeting but has a loving personality once she warms up. She is a feisty kind of gal that gets along with dogs but doesn't really appreciate them getting her attention. She doesn't get aggressive but will run around in a circle around you with a little growl then jumps back in your lap. It is hilarious. She runs around with a little pack all the time here. She would probably be best with an adult household. She is crate trained here at the rescue which should make it much easier for her to adjust to a potty break schedule in her new home. This cutie is spayed and is current on shots and preventions. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.

We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
