Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pineapple BBQ, the sweetest bundle of energy and affection. This young bunny is full of life, with a love for zooming around, exploring, and tackling food puzzles. He's a curious little shadow who follows his foster family from room to room, showering them with kisses and snuggling up for head rubs. Pineapple BBQ adores playtime with stacking cups and digging platforms, but his favorite pastime might just be demanding pets while lounging in your lap.
This adventurous bunny is also an expert jumper—he’s always looking for new heights to conquer—so a home with plenty of safe play structures would be ideal. He warms up quickly to new people, hopping over to say hi, and he’s gotten along well with the resident cat in his foster home. Pineapple BBQ would thrive in a home where he can free roam, get lots of attention, and share all his love.
Ready to welcome this spirited, cuddly explorer into your home? Pineapple BBQ is excited to meet you!
Pineapple BBQ is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.
Submit an adoption application for Pineapple BBQ at center.houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email rabbit-center@houserabbit.org and we’ll be happy to talk more with you!

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
