Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Jester, a 2-month-old gray and white kitten with a heart as big as his purr! This sweet and confident boy loves following his foster around the house, always ready to curl up on your lap for chin scratches or a nap. Jester is quick to purr and slow to stop, especially when it comes to playtime. He loves chasing toys with feathers and wrestling with his siblings, but his favorite is an interactive electronic toy. He’s the first to the food bowl and has a great appetite, preferring canned food but will nibble on kibble too. Jester is a playful, easy-going kitten who would do well with a fellow kitten companion that matches his energy. If you`re looking for a cuddly, playful companion with a big purr, Jester is the one for you!
If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
