Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Adirondack Blue, a 2-month-old fluffy gray ball of energy with a personality as big as his adventurous spirit! Blue is the biggest of his litter and loves to explore—nothing in the house is off-limits, from curtains to dish towels to coat racks. He’s a wrestling champ, always up for a match with his siblings, and is full of playful energy. Blue also enjoys interactive play and can entertain himself with toys, but he`s happiest when he can wake up a sibling or human for some extra fun. After a long day of play, he’s a big fan of cuddles and will happily curl up on your lap or nap in his favorite cat tree. Blue can be a little reserved around loud noises or strangers, but he’s sweet and affectionate once he feels comfortable. He’d do well in a home with another kitten to match his energy, and if you’re looking for a playful, cuddly companion, Blue is ready to steal your heart!
If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
