Meet Maximus, a 13-year-old senior pup with a heart full of curiosity and excitement! Despite his senior years, Maximus is still full of life, enjoying playtime and getting a little extra energy in his step when it’s time to explore. He’s friendly and outgoing, always ready for a walk, and he loves resting comfortably in his bed until it’s time for the next adventure. Maximus is an affectionate companion who enjoys attention from his humans. He’s enjoys being petted on his head, back, legs, and even his belly! His playful side shines through when it’s time to engage in some fun – he’s easy to excite with a variety of toys and will happily join in tug-of-war or fetch without dropping the ball. Even after playtime, Maximus stays energetic and keeps looking for more toys to play with. Maximus has let us know that he prefers to have his own space while enjoying his meals. It’s important to always give Maximus plenty of space while he eats! Maximus gets along well with other dogs, though he seems to prefer those who are a bit slower-moving and less excitable; he may not be the best match for overly energetic dogs. A meet-and-greet with another dog is recommended before taking him to a new home or for a playdate to make sure everyone gets along! With his friendly nature, love for play, and playful curiosity, Maximus would make a wonderful companion for someone willing to provide him with the love, care, and patience he deserves. Come meet Maximus today!
