My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kimber is a sweet, gentle giant with a shy and timid nature. At just two years old, she`s still learning to trust the world around her. Kimber can be a bit nervous and scared in new situations or environments, so she thrives in a calm, patient home where she can receive lots of TLC (tender loving care). Despite her cautious demeanor, once she feels safe and secure, Kimber shows her loving side and craves affection. She has a heart full of warmth, but it takes time for her to open up.

Kimber is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will give her the space and time she needs to build confidence. She benefits from a calm environment with consistent routines, and her ideal home is one that is calm and peaceful, where she can gradually adjust at her own pace. Kimber thrives on kindness and will reward you with unconditional love once she feels secure.

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don`t Shop.
