Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A young shy dog! She is looking for an experienced calm quiet home with an active structured lifestyle. She needs to build up her confidence in her world so will require a basic manners class or private training class to help her build confidence and bonding with her new family. She will need a fenced backyard and daily leash walks. We do not recommend off-leash parks until she has learned a recall, bonded with her new family and built some confidence.

Go meet their pets
Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
