**Currently in Foster** Meet Amelia! Amelia is a sweet girl looking for her forever home. She loves to be around you and soaks up any attention you will give her. She has begun treatment for heartworm and will need to be adopted in the Madison Co area so that she can complete her treatment, which is covered by GHHS. Her adopter will be responsible for getting her to/from her remaining vet appointments. She'll be on restricted activity after her injections, but that just means more time for snuggling! Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
