Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $650, plus tax
Location: Foster Home
Hi there! I'm Olivia, a cheerful little pup bursting with energy and love! At just 5 months old, I'm still a bundle of energy, always ready to make new friends-both human and furry! My tail wags like a propeller when I meet someone new; I just can't contain my excitement!
So far being here in Minnesota, I've learned that the best things in life are belly rubs, squeaky toys, and the thrill of playing with new doggy pals. My favorite game? Fetch! But I might be a little too curious to bring the toy back sometimes-oops!
I'm a total lovebug at heart. If there's a lap available, I'm there, soaking up all the pets and snuggles. My favorite spot? Next to any and all humans, daydreaming of adventures to come. I may be small right now, but my heart is HUGE, and I'm ready to spread joy wherever I go!
Let's be friends! I promise to fill your days with wagging tails, playful barks, and endless cuddles. Can't wait to meet you!!!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
