All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

The Potato puppies are a litter of 3 month old Papillon x Dachshund mixes who are ex-tuber-antly excited to meet you! The Potato puppies were surrendered to one of our amazing volunteers as their former owner lived on the street and wasn’t able to care for them. We agreed to take them in and provide them the care and love they needed to grow big and strong, and so these adorable taters joined the rescue! This litter is 3 boys and 2 girls. We expect the girls to be in the 18-20 pound range and the boys to be in the 20-25 pound range as adult dogs as they vary quite a bit in size. Are you ready for a spud-tacular addition to the family? Hasselback (M): Hasselback is a playful and happy puppy who brightens up any room he enters! Hasselback loves his toys and is almost always found dragging a stuffed toy across the pen as he encourages his siblings to jump in on some wrestling. Hasselback has gorgeous markings that make him stand out in a crowd. We know this ladies man will be the talk of the town once he makes his debut, and you’ll want to be by his side when it happens. Ready for some paw-tinis at the park? Hasselback will be helping you meet all the neighbors with his smile and his charm. This Mama’s boy may be a curious adventurer, but at the end of the day, he’s ready to snuggle in your arms and snooze the evening away. Looking for a new spin on a holiday potato classic? Mashed (M): Mashed is the leader of the sibling pack and he prances around with the confidence only an adorable puppy can have! Mashed has the cutest speckles on his face and you’ll get to see them up close often as he LOVES giving puppy kisses when he’s in your arms. He’s always ready for the next romp, zooming around on his uncoordinated little puppy legs as he scampers after a toy (or your shoelaces). Mashed was the first of the puppies to discover the joy of launching himself into leaf piles, and that truly describes his personality to a T. He’s always exploring the new smells and sights, and he can’t wait to tackle his bucket list with his forever family. Mashed knows he’s a classic that you won’t want to live without, and he plans to brighten your life from the first minute he meets you! Put a new spin on a holiday dinner classic and serve up some Mashed potatoes!
Shoestring (M): Shoestring is the smallest of the boys but he doesn’t let that hold him back from claiming all the cuddles and kisses he can! He loves his people and is often found gazing up at you as you go about your day, just waiting for you to take a break so he can shower you in puppy kisses. He is playful with his littermates but he is more likely to wait for the action to come to him than starting the wrestling matches. Shoestring has adorable little eyebrow markings that make his every emotion expressive on his face. He is truly such a fabulous character who makes everyone laugh as he shows off his zoomies and his jumping skills. Are you a fan of the classic french fries you can coat in ketchup at the diner? Spud (F): Spud is a professional snuggler who loves sleepy afternoons in the arms of her person. She’s a playful gal who loves her soft toys, especially when she can chew them as you work from home. Spud has the cutest little eyebrow marking that only makes her even more irresistible than her personality already does. Spud was the first of the litter to claim the prime spot on her foster mom’s lap and she uses her throne to gaze upon the play sessions of her siblings. Spud is a total Mama’s girl and she just wants to be where her people are. Her petite size makes her a perfect candidate for a purse pup to join you on all of the adventures you have planned with your new puppy bestie. Spud will be the talk of the block as you accessorize her in the season’s hottest fashions. Trust us, we know when a puppy is a showstopper. Spud is excited to burst out of the ground and launch herself into your arms!
Wedge (F): Wedge is a playful and cuddly explorer who will wedge her way into your heart before you can say “potato”! Wedge loves playing with her siblings and keeps the boys in line during wrestling sessions (before she swoops in and wins, of course)! Wedge loves belly rubs and she’s known to flop right over and wait for you to adore her when she’s ready for love. Prepare for so many puppy kisses from dawn til dusk! She’s full of curiosity about the world around her and loves gazing out the window as the leaves fall down and the squirrels scamper up the trees. Wedge has a gorgeous set of eyebrows that waggle in amusement before she jumps into her next activity. Her temperament is as flawless as her adorable birthmarks. Wedge can’t wait to make her debut during family dinner as she prances into your arms!
The Potato puppies wake up around 7 AM and are herded out to the bathroom as their pen is cleaned from night activities. They have three meals during the day: 8 AM, 12 PM, and 5 PM, and have access to kibble throughout the day as well. The litter spends their days playing, snoozing, cuddling, and causing adorable mischief around the house. They love their toys and are always on the move (until they are ready to pass out in a puppy pile). In the evening, they get some individual cuddle time before they head back into their pen for a night full of dreams of cookies.
The Potato puppies have been well socialized with dogs of all ages and sizes. They love meeting new people and are just adorable. True ambassadors for canines across the world. Interested homes should be prepared to continue training and socialization as these are young puppies who need structure as they grow up. The Potato puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.
